Engeneous
OpenWollemi is delighted to introduce Engeneous. Click here to watch a video presentation on Engeneous.
Engeneous is an open source software tool to help local governments to plan, implement and report on energy and water efficiency programs in large numbers of small facilities such as childcare centres, sports pavilions and public toilets.
Local governments frequently own and manage hundreds of small buildings. Although each facility uses relatively little energy and water, they often cumulatively consume more than a large aquatic centre.
Until now, these buildings have frequently been neglected in councils’ environmental sustainability programs because of the cost and inconvenience of planning and reporting on such a large number of varied buildings.
Enter Engeneous – an online tool that helps council staff or their nominated contractors to manage sustainability retrofit programs in dozens or hundreds of diverse facilities.
Key benefits include:
* Instant online report generation - audit, report and communicate with site users in one visit
* Freedom to engage your preferred local contractors, or to use the tool yourself
* Includes 77 common energy and water retrofit recommendations
* Use off-the-shelf assumptions for a first-pass analysis, then edit them for precise, locally relevant results
